The Financial Services Resolution and Compensation Committee
The Committee is charged with administering the Scheme and is independent of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (“GFSC”) or Government of Gibraltar. The Committee may employ persons to provide services for the day-to-day administration of the Scheme, or for administering claims for compensation.
Only the GFSC, as the regulator, or the Courts can decide if a firm is unable to repay its investments. The FSRCC cannot make this decision.
